Dr. Matt has been engaged in movement education and physical rehabilitation from an early age, growing up in an athletic environment and navigating his own recovery from multiple injuries. As a lifelong athlete, he is dedicated to simplifying the recovery process for his patients and facilitating their return to sports and activities through a holistic healthcare approach. This approach encompasses education, manual therapies, rehabilitative and strengthening exercises, nutritional guidance, lifestyle modifications, and support for behavioral changes. He actively applies these principles to meet the diverse recovery needs of his patients.
After earning his Kinesiology degree from Western University, Dr. Matt completed the Chiropractic program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He has had the opportunity to learn from leading experts in manual therapy, rehabilitation, and exercise science. With a wide array of techniques at his disposal, he excels at identifying and addressing the root causes of pain and dysfunction, achieving both rapid and enduring results. With over 25 years of experience in health, fitness, and performance, Dr. Matt is committed to helping individuals return to their favourite activities and hobbies.
Dr. Matt is also passionate about continuing education, having pursued certifications in: Active Release Techniques (ART), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Strength and Conditioning Specialization (CSCS), Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) for golfers, Complete Concussion Management (CCM), McGill Method Rehabilitation, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, and clinical & athletic taping.
