Maeyah has been passionate about Massage Therapy since her first day at Vancouver Career College. She finds the human body fascinating and is honored to be able to facilitate an experience of safety and holistic therapy for her community. By far, her favorite aspect of the profession is the opportunity to connect with her patients in a heartfelt and meaningful way.
She has found that marrying orthopedic clinical skills and intuitive flow has yielded beneficial treatment outcomes. Some of her chosen massage techniques include, but are not limited to: myofascial release, swedish massage, trigger point therapy, active and passive stretching, joint mobilizations and active release techniques. She is passionate about patient centered care, education and collaboration. She is willing to meet you where you’re at and help you achieve your wellness goals through active listening, staying curious and maintaining a solutions based approach.
When she’s not working you might find her walking by a river, reading a book, singing, making music with her partner or playing board games with friends.
